Redmond's Top Ten

Whether you are new to the state, or just new to Redmond, hopefully this will be a helpful list of local destinations. Between coffee shops, markets, and casual restaurants, Redmond has a lot to offer!

 

  1. Coffee- For your java needs, there are several good coffee shops close to Overlake. Choose from Starbucks (11523 Avondale Road Suite #102), Victor’s Celtic Coffee Company (7993 Gilman Street), 5 Stones (8102 161st Avenue NE), or Farine Bakery and Café (16450 Redmond Way Ste 100) to name a few. 
  2. PCC Natural Markets- 11435 Avondale Road, Redmond. Located just 2 miles from school, this is a great place to grab lunch or something for dinner on the way home. https://www.pccmarkets.com/
  3. Pomegranate Bistro- 18005 NE 68th St. Redmond. This is a family friendly neighborhood café. Great for lunch or dinner. Pomegranate also has a nice bar with a wide variety of cocktails and finger foods. https://pomegranatebistro.com/
  4. Woodblock Restaurant- 16175 Cleveland St. Suite 109 Redmond. Owned by a former local teacher, Woodblock offers great meals, drinks, and a comfortable and cozy environment. Great for lunch or dinner. http://www.woodblockredmond.com/
  5. Spark Pizza- 8110 164th Ave NE, Redmond. Also owned by the folks who run Woodblock, this is a new pizzeria in downtown Redmond. They have a lovely outdoor seating area and delicious pizza! https://www.sparkpizzaredmond.com/
  6. Homegrown/Molly Moon’s Ice Cream- 16272 Cleveland St., Redmond. Wonderful, locally sourced ice cream! http://www.mollymoon.com/
  7. Redmond Saturday Market- 9900 Willows Road NE, Redmond. The Eastside’s oldest farmer’s market runs every Saturday May through October offering fresh flowers, produce, and artisan crafts. http://redmondsaturdaymarket.org/
  8. Marymoor Park- 6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE, Redmond. This 640-acre park boasts much to do- from concerts in the summer to a fabulous off-leash dog park.   9. Snoqualmie Falls- 6501 Railroad Ave SE, Snoqualmie. Okay, so this isn’t in Redmond, but it’s spectacular and just a short drive away. Go for the falls, for a hike, or just to escape the hustle and bustle of western Washington. http://www.snoqualmiefalls.com/
