Why are my students joining a conference early/late/not at all?
- Conferences are not attached to a date/time so you cannot set a date/time when setting up a conference
- When you start a Canvas conference, an invitation is sent to all attendees. Whether or not they receive this invitation is based on their personal notification settings.
- Best Practice: Create an event or assignment and include the link to your conferences page (you cannot link to a specific conference). If you are using conferences within groups, you will need to post the link to each group conference page. Group specific conferences do not show up on your course conference page.
