The rubric button does not automatically show on quizzes, but you can still add one.
How do I add a rubric to a regular quiz?
(If you are not sure which quiz type you are using, it is probably a regular quiz)
- On the quizzes page, click the title of the quiz to get to the assignment details page
- Click on the three dots in the top right
- Click Show Rubric

How do I add a rubric to a Quizzes.Next quiz?
- On the Quizzes page, click the three dots for the quiz you want to add a rubric to.
- Click the edit button to open the assignment options window.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click add rubric.
- If you are using outcomes, New Quizzes offers additional ways to connect your outcomes both the quiz and specific questions
