How do I manage what information displays about me and my family in the Veracross Directories?

Overlake provides a number of directories for Employees, Students, and Student Households that are accessible via Veracross Portals to employees, students, and current parents/guardians. Members of the community can control what information is visible about themselves, their household(s), and their student(s) in Overlake’s directories in the Veracross Portal. To do so, visit the Veracross Portal, scroll down to Update Family Profile on the right, then choose the Directory Preferences tab in the upper right corner (note that the previously embedded links are for Overlake parents/guardians - employees should follow the same steps within the employee portal).

Once there, you will be presented with a table that displays all of your information and how it is displayed across the Employee, Student, and Household directories. Most fields can be set to allow or decline display, and some fields, like address, allow the display of city only to add additional privacy without hiding the information entirely. Certain fields are not allowed to be disabled so that these directories still serve their function of understanding basic information about who is part of the Overlake community.
